Sail Away

Sail Away was an interactive installation that consisted of a huge flotilla of boats that snaked through the main exhibition space in the Turbine Hall, made out of old money, maps and tickets it considered connections through travel, trade and mapping.

New quilts made by inmates from Wandsworth prison with Fine Cell Works. Susan made a new quilt for the show about the life of Gandhi with Rupees and maps. Izzy McEvoy contributed a small, delicate, beautiful piece called 'Sotto Voce'.
